Product Marketing Manager, Consumer Electronics (East Bay, CA)
We are looking for a seasoned Product Marketing Manager for a fast growing, late stage start-up consumer electronics company. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a current product line and the accessories business. This is a primarily outbound product marketing manager role for a consumer product sold worldwide through national retailers and online merchants.
This is a 40 hour/week, onsite role at the client's offices in the East Bay, CA. This is a 3 month contract to perm role, as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions.
Responsibilities:
� Manage a current product line, including channel partnerships. product features and definitions, documentation, packaging and local labeling for regional markets
� Define the company wide accessories product portfolio based on customer needs, channel requirements and competitive landscape
� Work with different teams to manage the software updates, website design and related content
� Manage beta release programs
� Work with internal teams to keep customer support center and other documentation up-to-date
Requirements:
� 5 + years of prior experience in consumer electronics product management
� Experience with consumer products sold through traditional and online retail channels
� Passion for working with complex consumer products
� Strategic, cross functional business thinker and executor
� Excellent project management and organizational skills
� Excellent communications and presentation skills
� Proven experience in accelerating market demand for consumer products
� Experience analyzing program results and ROI measurement
� BA/BS Required
