Title: Events Project Specialist
Location: RTP or Remote Worker
Duration: 6+ months contract, renewed quarterly
Rate: $25hr
Role:
*Manage Partner events and training programs for U.S. Channels, which includes handling scheduling, registration, invitations, reporting and on-site event management
*Track budget and communicate region event metrics to better understand training volume, event purpose and to make better decisions about events
*Track events/report event activity/budget by area
*Filter which events should take place and manage event requests
*Work with other event program managers to recommend which events should be national
*Maintain area training/sales events calendar
*Communicate regularly with engineers, account managers and vendors regarding project needs
*Create Website page for events, including creating registration links
*Create/Host/Monitor Web based training sessions for US Channels Training and Development Organization
*Manage Budget of $200k annually for US Channels Training and Development Organization
*Drive attendance for Partner training events to reduce negative attrition rates
*Create pre/post event surveys and communicate results to the field
*Contact vendors with confirmation queries and follow up for missing receipts
*Process receipts in budget area for each event that catering has been ordered for
*Reconcile statements each month and shepherd through approval process
*Developed a contact list of US/Canada catering companies
*Created catering order form that is faxed to vendors to streamline catering process
*Manage vendor relationships
*Add new vendors to tool
*Responsible for securing off-site venues and working with the team on logistical needs
*Maintain Outlook calendar
*Execute all travel arrangements
*Assist with planning special events
