We have an opening with our client who is a leader in antivirus software.

Title : Sr.Network Engineer

Duties

• The Network & Security operation team acts as Symantec´s technical authority on matters related to the engineering & operation of global network, and implementing security best practices.
• The candidate will work with internal operational and product development teams and act as the subject matter expert on issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, load-balancers, and other associated infrastructure
• The Network Engineer will participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to respond to critical customer issues and questions.
• The candidate must be an expert in the areas of security & network operation, and router, switch and firewall configuration, troubleshooting.

Skills

• The candidate should have experience dealing with complex multivendor layer 2/3 and 4-7 environments, including Cisco Nexus switches and Juniper
• Familiarity with both layer 2/3-only routers and switches and layer 4-7 load-balancing devices is required, as well as experience with stateful firewall deployments and large-scale IPSEC implementations

Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration : 1 year with probable extension
