In this position, the individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining internal software tools used by SanDisk's SSD engineering teams. In addition, the role involves cooperating with cross-functional teams to discover requirements and implement solutions for internal customer needs. The successful candidate will use standard software development methodologies to scope, design, develop, and maintain applications and test scripts that assist with debugging & analyzing failures, reporting bugs, and troubleshooting issues using in-house and 3rd-party tools. The key goal of this individual will be to provide software tools that drive systems and functional testing and data analysis for SanDisk SSDs.

The position requires expert knowledge of ASP.Net web development and MS SQL Server. Candidate should have knowledge of multiple languages including C#, Java, C++, and Python. Proficiency in protocols such as PCIe, SAS SATA, & SCSI is highly desired. Experience in testing complex high performance storage systems. Experience in system and lab setup for test efficiency. Linux experience is highly desired. Must have software and system debug skills using MS Visual Studio 2005 or later. Flash memory testing or storage testing experience is highly desired.

This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Proven track record of meeting deadlines including at least one successful product launch. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
