[KITlist-Tech] Let's all take a minute to donate by text to the Red Cross help Hurricane Sandy victims?

Hello Everyone,

I am always so touched by the quality and heart of the people in our KIT List community.

Seeing the post-Sandy devastation, I realized that we have such tremendous power in our KIT List community with over 70,000 people on this email list.

In some previous disasters, the generous people in our KIT List community pitched in their time helping pack clothing for Katrina victims, and donated for tsunami victims, and at a KIT List event where we collected money for the San Bruno fire victims.

If you would like to donate $10 to the Red Cross, it's easy to do by texting

REDCROSS to 90999

You can actually donate by text three times in one day, to make it a $30 donation.

Or you can donate on their site:

The text option is so fast and easy, if you can help get the word out about the texting instructions to your friends, we can really make a difference!

I just did it (note that you will need to reply to their text with a "YES" to confirm your donation).

Thanks so much, everyone!

Sue
