Position Summary: The successful candidate will design, perform, and analyze the results of RF and DC accelerated and operational life tests on compound semiconductor integrated circuits and their individual active and passive components. The devices to be analyzed are high frequency and high power GaN and GaAs integrated circuits. The work will involve determining proper test conditions, equipment and fixture design/set-up, creating test programs, conducting tests and pre/post data analysis and report creation. Job involves extraction of temperature/current/voltage acceleration factors and finding RF-to-DC correlation.
Job Qualifications:
1) Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and microwave circuit theory
2) RF test experience
3) Knowledge of reliability statistics
4) Experience with test automation, data acquisition, extraction, and manipulation (LabView preferred)
5) Must have attention to detail, be very organized, and have good written and verbal skills
6) Must work well both independently and in a cross-functional team
7) US citizenship/green card required
8) EDUCATION requirement: MS or Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics
9) Experience level: Min. 5 years of related experience
