We are currently seeking a Catalog Development Specialist. This is a full time position and made be handled remotely from a home office in the US or in our corporate headquarters in Redwood City, CA.
The person in this position will be responsible for focusing on providing technical leadership and execution in the development and deployment of the service and parts catalogs of our Automobile Dealer Customers. Activities include the following tasks:
• Maintaining full ownership of the automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) catalogs
• Overseeing/creating the construction of all OEM catalogs including service and parts
• Database extraction experience from a car manufacturer or vendor
• Interacting with Engineering on the planning, implementation of catalogs for both service and parts as they evolve
• Interacting with OEMs and with SMEs for particular makes
• Overseeing/creating the construction all of Year/Make/model trim-based primary vehicle set
• Creating mechanisms that will allow dealerships to use all OEMs catalogs
• Overseeing the ongoing maintenance of catalogs
• Acting as enterprise customer and dealership advocate within Xtime.

To successful in this role, you will have:
• Ability to clearly and effectively discuss technical issues with non-technical customer personnel
• An understanding of data modeling and its effect on software processes
• Experience with software systems and processes related to software operation, deployment and support,such as rdbms, and data provisioning
• Management experience (either in a software development and/or information/data processing organization)
• Ability and eagerness to learn complex technology, and basic understanding of web-based systems
• Automotive Industry experience within an OE strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree highly desirable
• Working experience with dealerships; preferably in an advisory capacity, iterating through catalog implementation, and working knowledge of one or more Dealer Management Systems (DMS) (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with vehicle service requirements including mileage interval and conditional systems also a plus
