Job Title Senior Software Engineer

Location San Diego, CA (downtown)

Position Summary
With a recent investment from Qualcomm and seed investment from Stanford University staff, FatSkunk is a start-up revolutionizing the mobile security space. We are seeking a highly motivated, proficient, scary smart engineer to lead software design and integration. The candidate will play a key part on a dynamic and talented team that will rapidly take a breakthrough technology from proof-of-concept to commercial launch.

Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in the development and integration of embedded operating systems, board support packages, and device drivers on Qualcomm, OMAP and Intel mobile device chipsets
Proficient in Linux and especially with Android Linux kernel; has written software on bare metal
Design, development, test and support experience with embedded driver level software, OS device drivers and chip support libraries
Experience with embedded operating systems used in mobile devices
Detailed understanding of current and upcoming RAM and flash technologies
Specific knowledge of data flows across the memory bus and caches, including interrupt handling, is a plus
Strong software design skills plus the ability to analyze and solve engineering problems
Strong knowledge of hardware interfaces, low-level drivers and buses
Experience with engineering design, test and debug tools

Education
Bachelor´s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required
Master´s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering is preferred
