Director of Formulation
As a product development leader, the Director of Formulation will conceive, design, and implement topical skincare products that complement and extend our world-class consumer-direct home laser dermatology products.
Driving product development initiatives in topical skincare, the Director, Formulation will help define commercial strategy, positioning, key ingredients, desired claims, and obtain claims substantiation in conjunction with Tria´s commercial team and understand and exploit unique ability to complement light-based therapy in conjunction with other members of the R&D team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years R&D/formulation experience in a lead or senior topical skincare development role
- Proven experience in a cross-functional capacity (collaboration with commercial and other R&D members)
- Proven experience in identifying and bringing to market innovative topical skincare products
- Highly organized with a proven track record of analyzing data and managing multiple projects
- Significant research experience within the science and medical areas
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
- MS in Chemistry or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)
