Hello -

My client is a young, well-funded and managed startup in an emerging storage market. They have customers that are very large and they are looking to add leadership to the QA organization.

Responsibilities and Tasks
We are seeking a Principal SQA engineer to provide technical leadership to the SQA team. They will be a key contributor to understanding the overall SQA strategy for major enhancements and improvements to the product line.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

This position requires at least nine years experience in SQA, of which at least five years must involve storage products such as arrays or fibre channel, storage behavior, and the SAN environment. You must be able to test whether our product conforms to the fibre channel spec.

This person needs to be proficient with FC analyzers (namely Finisar) and other protocol test tools such as Finisar Jammer and SANBlaze (initiator/target emulator).

Scripting is a plus but not necessary.

Must be able to communicate clearly.

They must have had experience in QA in terms of writing, executing, and reporting test cases, bug logging and verification, and solid test and troubleshooting methodologies.
