RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administer systems supporting the mission critical enterprise services: Monitor system health and performance; analyze and resolve reported system and application problems; and patch and update servers/application software as necessary
2. Design, Plan, Provision, Deploy, Document, and Windows servers, applications, security
Identify, propose, and respond to opportunities for innovative improvements to hardware and software facilities to ensure the infrastructure is providing superior service and reliability
3. Safeguard data processing operations by identifying potential problem areas and single points of failure that may result in interruptions to critical data processing operations.
4. Disaster Recovery, Data Sensitivity and Performance Monitoring Methods, Back-up and Recovery, and Disaster Recovery Plans and Procedures.
5. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
6. Responsible for the administration of: Windows Server 2003 and 2008
Skills/Experience
6+ years experience as a Systems Administrator
1. High Proficiency in Windows Server 2003, 2008,
2. Experienced with Active Directory and Group Policies
3. Some experience in Cisco IOS, Switches, Routers, and Security Systems
4. Experience preferred with: Windows Server 2008 and remote Desktop Services, SAN Storage Management including troubleshooting and performance optimization, Exchange Server, , Enterprise Anti-Virus
