The iTunes Operations Team is seeking a Digital Supply Chain specialist to develop and execute on various projects and initiatives within the digital supply chain across business units. The candidate should have a strong understanding of business processes and supply chain principles.
The candidate must have strong communication skills , attention to detail and experience working on supply chain projects.
Responsibilities
• Assess, define, implement and manage digital supply chain projects as prioritized by the iTunes Operation Team.
• Work cross functionally among internal business units to gather requirements and consensus as it relates to digital supply chain projects.
• Work externally with digital supply chain vendors to assess their capabilities, capacity and help define metrics to monitor and measure quality levels.
• Work internally to assess digital supply chain capacity, define and review monitoring processes and quality metrics, review and recommend process improvements.
• Work with vendors to continuously improve cost, quality and schedule.
Bachelors degree preferred along with 5+ years of related experience
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills along with strong verbal and written and communication skills.
• Proven experience in working in large cross-functional organizations and having the ability to drive project consensus through collaboration with the stakeholders.
• Technical experience with Database and Web based systems.
• Experience in the Digital Supply Chain and Content Management a plus.
• Some travel may be required.
