[KITlist-Tech] Sr. Java Engineer (Backend, Database) (San Francisco, CA)

Hello -

I have a couple of openings for senior-level Java engineers who have backend and SQL experience. They need experience with Hibernate, too, because they are moving to Hibernate. I also need some experience JSPs and Javascript, so engineers with well-rounded experience are needed.

I also need people with strong overall experience in building complex platforms. This company is in the financial space and they are profitable, so it´s a great opportunity for an engineer with solid experience.


Sr. Java Engineer

We are a profitable startup located in San Francisco´s Financial district. We are looking for a mid-level engineer with EJB, Hibernate, JSP or JS experience to join our team and to take it to the next level. To reiterate, we are profitable.

Responsibilities include:

Produce high-quality web products in a fast-paced, project oriented environment.

Work with sales and product staff to ensure good response to customer activities.

Work on the server side as necessary to ensure proper business functionality

Our ideal candidate has:

4-7 years of experience (new college grads will be considered)

Strong debugging skills

Good communication skills

Strong Java and backend background (EJB, Hibernate, SQL)

Web technologies experience (JavaScript, HTML, DOM, CSS)

Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks (Prototype, jQuery, YUI, etc)

Computer Science degree or equivalent

A good sense of humor
