About the Position
The Database Solutions Architect will lead the design and deployment of a web-integrated database system based on Salesforce. The role is responsible for evaluating our organizational requirements and designing complete solutions leveraging Salesforce, Apps, and ancillary web tools that help us deliver high quality services to our customers.

The Database Solutions Architect will manage an external Salesforce consulting team to develop an effective solution that meets our budget and timeline. The Solutions Architect role requires experience across a range of different focus areas. Ideally the candidate will have experience in both infrastructure and software development arenas.

The Database Solutions Architect will also manage an external vendor in the development of Java-based tracking system for our GreenPoint Rated Existing Home projects.


Responsibilities

· Manage outsourced implementation partners to define scope, design, planning, build-out, and testing of systems.

· Develop a data migration plan from current data sources to new system, and oversee execution

· Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and internal staff to meet deliverables.

· Gather, analyze, and summarize business and user needs, documenting requirementsand process flows.

· Coordinate with staff and consulting team to determine requirements of new, custom applications in order to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce.com.

· Creating and managing complex workflow rules, data validation, and system triggers.

· Write technical approach and design documentation supporting business needs.

· Evaluate App Exchange tools for feasibility and impact to the business, such as email marketing and event management tools.

· Evaluate non-Salesforce CMS, events registration, directories, and marketing communications tools and ensure seamless integration with Salesforce.

· Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for database users and coordinate training sessions

· Manage multiple user set up, profiles, roles, and teams.

· Train users in conversion and implementation of system.

· Assist users with report design and management

· Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the database to support additional business processes or functions

· Manage ongoing relationship with Salesforce.com and the Salesforce.com Foundation

· Other responsibilities as defined

Qualifications:

· 3 – 5 years in database design or development

· 2+ years working in a Salesforce environment. Administrator certification preferred.

· 2+ years managing projects and vendors

· Understanding of database integration scenarios and design

· Experience with SFDC administration and implementation

· Familiarity with Java

· Proficient in data manipulation (Excel, Access, FileMaker Pro)

· Knowledge of website database integration

· Strong documentation and training skills

· Excellent project management and communication skills

· Positive, results driven, rational, logical, team player.

Compensation
This is a full-time, 6-month temporary position with a salary of $40,000 - $45,000 over six months ($80k – 90k annualized), based on experience.

In order to develop our products we have a multicultural team of both Western and Asian Engineers permanently located in China. Due to the rapid growth of our company we are looking to expand our engineering team by adding highly talented and practical Systems engineers, preferably Mandarin speaking and with Transducer experience.

The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for leading a project team in developing audio systems, from concept through to production, driving the product forward and delivering product at cost and on schedule for many of the world's leading high end brands. We design, develop and manufacture subwoofers, studio monitors, iPod docks and other active loudspeaker systems.

A successful candidate must be able to take a project from a concept into production, including acoustic system design and testing. The applicant will exhibit good working knowledge of audio system design and measurements. They will be able to interpret customer requirements and specifications and optimize their designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.


Specific Duties include:

Ability to lead technical discussions with customers to define products that meet performance and cost targets.
Ability to conduct detail acoustic design with CAD software such as LEAPV, Akabak, LSPCAD or equivalent.
Excellent problem solving and product trouble shooting skills.
Project related task management of supporting engineers.
Technical management of the development audio products.
Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
Ability to guide and mentor others on technical issues.
Help to manage the development of loudspeaker systems with inter-disciplinary team work approach .

Required Skills:
Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Acoustics or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in development of audio systems.
Ability to lead technical discussions with customers to define products that meet performance and cost targets.
Ability to conduct detail acoustic design with CAD software such as LEAPV, Akabak, LSPCAD or equivalent.
Excellent problem solving and product trouble shooting skills.
Fluency in English (Mandarin is not required, however would be an excellent asset to have).
Excellent teamwork in a dynamic project environment.

Job responsibilities will include:

Help design and then implement a test automation framework enabling the testing portion of our overall continuous integration migration
Tackle the challenge of a large quality debt backlog consisting of manual regression and legacy test cases
Actively drive our overall automated testing strategy by continually suggesting areas of improvement and introducing opportunities for innovation
Fully participate as an equal in the daily design and planning activities in which the Medrio product team engages
Apply your passion for QA by acting as the "Voice of Quality" (VoQ) on our products, processes, and activities
Respond quickly and efficiently to rapidly changing situations without losing sight of the long term strategic goals and vision

Essential Success Skills:

3+ years experience with .NET development (C# preferred)
2+ years experience designing and implementing programmatic test automation of web application
Experience with multiple web GUI automation frameworks (ex: Selenium, WatiN, WatiR, etc)
Experience working with multiple programmatic test frameworks (ex: Nunit, MSTest, JUnit, etc)
1+ years experience testing highly configurable hosted web applications (SaaS preferred)
Working knowledge of object oriented design principles and theory
Solid grasp of the fundamentals of test case design and management
Demonstrable experience performing independent estimation and task management activities

Experience with or knowledge of any of the following would be a major plus:

Experience working with (or managing) a continuous integration framework (ex: CruiseControl, Bamboo, TFS, etc)
Experience working within an agile development environment (ex: Scrum, kanban, XP, lean, etc)

Position Summary:
1. Provide network implementation build-outs of all data network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, Wireless in remote client locations across North America.
2. Coordinate and execute implementation of network systems hardware and software, from standard design templates.
3. Coordinate business unit requirements gathering discussions to obtain design specifications to meet the stated objectives.
4. Work in conjunction with Project Management teams, Network Design and Support teams to provide turn-key networking solutions.
5. Provides third-level troubleshooting and problem resolution on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement Cisco routing switching infrastructure.
2. Coordinate business unit requirements gathering for design and implement specifications.
3. Design, build and implement networks to achieve high availability requirements.
4. Collect and analyze data about the performance and capacity of the network and its components, and make recommendations to management.
5. Create and maintain project and site documentation.
6. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training – College degree preferable

Certifications required – CCNA

Business Experience: 5+ years experience implementing medium to large size, multi-site network. Demonstrate ability to design and implement complex Cisco data networks. Experience in the use of network management tools, to detect and resolve network issues.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills required 5+ years in the following areas:
Knowledge of, and experience in designing, building and operating networks, with experience in the following technologies:
EIGRP and BGP. Ethernet switched LAN and 80.11 WLAN, SNMP, Spanning tree, CDP, and VTP.
T1, PRI, DS3 and fractional services, along with Frame relay, ATM, IPSec VPN and MPLS services.
QOS, MGCP and H323.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, very reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.

Candidate must be able to work occasional weekends and on after-hours projects.

Working Conditions:
Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) – Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) – Some physical effort required.

The Firmware Engineers work continuously with world class technologists, industrial designers, marketers, the gaming community, cross functional engineering teams and ODM's to create high end gaming equipment. This position requires familiarity with the full design cycle for high volume products employing high quality components from brainstorming through tooling into production. Strong technical design and analysis capabilities are also required.

Specific Duties include:
Ability to understand individual and commercial requirements resulting in uniquely effective, high-quality, cost-driven performance solutions.
Create and execute bring up schedules.
Set up and manage version control for engineering.
Create project and technical reports as required.
Identify and perform any engineering required.
Help select and support suppliers from prototyping to mass production.
Test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production.
Assist other engineering fields in evaluating and specifying microcontroller and other embedded devices into future products.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
BSEE required, MSEE preferred
5-10 years proven track record of bringing consumer electronics products into production.
Must have ability to work with cross functional development teams from internal staff, outside contractors and Asia ODM's.
Must have completed multiple full FW product development cycles of high volume, consumer electronic devices.
Must have experience working with electrical engineering, marketing, and suppliers to develop FW for a wide range of embedded processors.
Must have knowledge of revision control such as Tortoise SVN.
Must have good working knowledge of IAR, Code Warrior, and other compilers.
Must have thorough understanding of ARM, 805x, and other 32-bit micro controllers.
Must be able to connect eval and bread boards together to create product concept demos.
Must be able to use USB, I2S, and I2C analyzers and other debugging equipment such as O-scopes and DMMs.
Must be able to analyze and implement multiple wireless technologies.
