Responsible for the daily technical operational support of eCommerce/customer facing applications and services at Rovi. Position will be responsible for supporting key areas of infrastructure including network, server, storage, web servers and middle-tiers. Also responsible for adhering and conducting daily activties related to PCI and other compliance initiatives. The primary technical expertiese for this position is Windows Server and associated technologies.
Technical Pre-requisites/Requirements:
-7yrs minimum IT experience
-3yrs minimum eCommerce experience
-3yrs minimum VMware and SAN technologies
-Windows 2003/2008 Server -- in depth knowledge: performance monitoring, AD/GPO, Terminal server, DFS, patch management
-Windows IIS and associated caching technologies
-Adding structure to IT operations -- implementing change management, documentation, best practices, etc.
-Experience with PCI requirements and support
-Advanced networking monitoring/troubleshooting
-Formal project management
-VB and Powershell scripting
