Position Title: Database Administrator

Responsible for planning, coordinating and administering computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.
Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
Experience: 6+ years experience in database administration
Knowledge/Skills: In-depth knowledge of database definition, structure, documentation, long range requirements, operational guidelines and protection

Customer Service - Advanced
AIX - Advanced
HPUX Yes Advanced
MS Windows - Advanced
Oracle DBA - Advanced
Project Planning - Advanced
Additional Skills:
Requested is for a senior level Oracle DBA with 9i, 10g, and 11g Oracle DBA experience regarding database support on AIX, HPUX, Red Hat Linux and Windows.
Experience needs to include ASM, backup and recovery, and upgrades/patching of databases in a standalone and RAC environment.
Additional items we are also looking for are customer service, storage, change management, project planning, and team collaboration.
