IT Developer (.Net, LAMP) needed for long term consulting project for Client Company.
The primary functions and responsibilities of this role are:
o Support all applications and integrations created by the IT Applications team.
o Work with IT architect to produce supportable and scalable solutions for the company.
o Implement solutions with help from the rest of the IT Applications Team and/or consultants and/or vendors.
o Act as second line of support for all helpdesk questions relating to the applications the team has created or implemented.
o Help in documenting IT Apps.
o Create and contribute to internal and external knowledgebase.
o Help Administer Salesforce.com for the Support Business Group.
o Help Administer NetSuite.com.
Education:
B.A/B.S. in Computer Science with 4+ yrs of experience in similar job function and responsibilities is preferred.
Requirements:
o Strong familiarity with C# or other .NET languages.
o Strong customer service skills.
o Excellent communication and written skills.
o Familiarity with PHP and LAMP/WAMP infrastructure.
o Must demonstrate ability to work independently and with various teams.
o Must possess strong work ethic, organizational and planning skills with flexibility to learn and implement new processes to streamline workload.
o Requires the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and solve problems analytically.
o Enthusiasm and drive to grow within the company.
Nice to haves:
o Experience in a Service Desk environment in the past
o Preference given to those with strong VisualForce and Apex experience
o Experience in NetSuite is desired
o Good knowledge of Linux and IT network infrastructure are preferred
o Basic understanding of Cloud Computing
