Located in Beverly, MA, we are in search of an experienced Applications Engineer to join our High Performance Atomic Clocks Product Team, which includes our newly released Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC). The successful candidate will be instrumental in securing design wins, identifying customer requirements, synthesizing product roadmap & individual product definitions, working closely with the product management and engineering teams, and serving as the technical liaison for the customers in our target markets.
Job description
*Provide application and solutions support to the customer
*Development of technical sales materials to illustrate and support the successful adoption of our technology, including presentations, simulation models, evaluation boards, white papers and reference application designs
*Support Customer and field application trainings
*Direct experience working on pre and post sale customer design-in support.
*Validate applications use cases via lab measurements and analysis and assist the design, product and test teams during the new product development cycle.
*Provide application/market feedback to product management and engineering
*Perform competitive analysis and provide inputs on roadmaps and new product ideas
*Identify key applications in which our unique technology is valuable and create novel solutions utilizing our capability
*The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with the ability to multi-task
Job Requirements
Requirements
*US Citizen or Permanent Resident
*B.S Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent with a min of 5 years of relevant experience.
*Clocks, precision frequency or precise timekeeping experience is desired however experience in the RF or Semiconductors industries will also be considered.
*Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned product areas and utilize that expertise to effectively serve our customers both from the home office as well as at the customers' sites.
*Strong lab, test development and data analysis skills
*Capable of making RF/Microwave and clock performance measurements
*Demonstrated ability to self-manage projects to completion
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to fluently discuss technical details with our customer's engineers and internal IC design, product and test engineers.
*Willingness to travel (min. 20%...Domestic & International)
Desired Qualifications
*Working knowledge of design software (eg. Microwave Office) and PCB layout tools a plus.
*Working knowledge of MS Windows™, Word™, Power Point™, Excel™
*Familiarity with LabView™ not required, but would be a plus
