IT Director
Based in San Mateo, CA, we are currently looking for an IT Director to be responsible for every aspect of our IT function. This person will be a hands-on, detailed and results oriented individual looking to join a high energy, fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Define, communicate, and implement the company's overall IT strategy, policies, standards, and processes.
• Complete ownership (hands-on) for the design, development, maintenance, administration, and security of the network, computing, and communication infrastructure and software. This includes servers, routers, switches, controllers, PC's, printers, power, systems backup and recovery, cabling, desktop and mobile phones.
• Security and other protection of systems, data, and facilities – setting policy, implementation, reporting, administration
• Implementing a help desk and managing end user support requests
• Employee onboarding
• Research and procurement of hardware, software, and services
• Asset (hardware and software) inventory management and compliance.
• Coordinating and managing 3rd party services and relationships
• Participate in researching, selecting, and implementing corporate business systems
Required Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related discipline
• 7+ years in overall IT management
• 3+ years of being a manger in IT
• Must have deep expertise in all aspects of networking and security
• Expert in Windows, Outlook, directory services.
• Exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site environment.
• Strong business communication skills and able to work well at all levels of management
• Budgeting and planning acumen
• Able to lift 50 pounds
