We are looking for an experienced Technical Marketing Manager contractor for an opportunity at a global high technology company, that is developing solutions in the Big Data/Analytical Solution space. This is a technical marketing role focused first on review of the big data marketplace and then on technical marketing responsibilities such as technical marketing materials creation, demos, and development of technical use cases.

This is a 6 month, contract to permanent, 40 hours per week role, as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. This is a onsite role at the client´s offices in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a market landscape of big data solutions, related to the client´s solution
set. Understand competitive elements and complementary/partner solutions. This
market review will focus on solutions´ technologies, capabilities and features.
• Educate broad internal teams and stakeholders on the market landscape for big
data solutions.
• Create technical marketing materials such as whitepapers, demos, technical use
cases, etc.
• Work with cross functional teams on technical aspects of solutions launches
• Develop and deliver technical sales training

Requirements:
• 5-10 years experience in Technical Marketing
• 5 + years experience with analytical/data driven solutions technical marketing
• Demonstrated experience building technical marketing materials
• Exceptional organizational, written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in taking solutions, software, or services to market
• Demonstrated success leading large, multi-discipline projects with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
• BS/BA required, MBA preferred
