Symmetricom´s Boulder-based Government Systems Group is expanding the Systems Engineering Department -requiring the addition of a Senior Systems Engineer to lead and perform technical work in the areas of digital signal processing, satellite communications and airborne timing. The Systems Engineer will work with our technical R&D programs in the field of timing and communications systems. Successful applicant will be joining an established, successful team and will be expected to learn quickly on the job.
Key requirements for this position include:
* US Citizenship
* BSEE or equivalent; MS/additional education is a plus
* Established track record of lead technical responsibility
* Project management skills and customer interaction experience
* Established expertise in at least one of the following areas is required:
-Digital Signal Processing
-Communications Systems
-Satellite Communications
-Airborne Applications
-Control Theory (electrical)
* Must be able to represent the company and the programs in a detailed technical fashion both internally and externally.
* Applicant must be comfortable taking responsibility for a small team on highly technical work and producing results in a fast paced environment.
* Focus of this position is to execute existing work; Business development experience a plus
* Communication credential -must be able to convey engineering principles and results in written (paper) and briefing formats.
