[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: Cocoa UI Developer (Silicon Valley, CA)

Cocoa UI Developer needed for long term project. Pay rate negotiable DOE.

**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience only please.**

Responsibilities:

This position requires having skill and experience developing native OSX Cocoa UI desktop applications. The target application is an enterprise application system used for managing assets. The candidate is expected to be self-motivated, proactive and solution-oriented individual.

Qualifications:

•Experience programming in Objective-C.
•Experience using Cocoa APIs such as Core Data, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), Automatic Reference Counting (ARC).
•Experience using NSView drawing functionality.
•Experience with development tools (such as Xcode).
•Experience with developing in and for an OSX desktop environment.

Other Skills:
•Good communication skills.
•Good engineering and debugging skills.
•Experience working with media assets.
•Experience with Linux/Unix.

Description:

Passion for developing intuitive human interface. Critical analysis of requirements provided by business teams. Maintain and enhance existing Cocoa UI application. Perform unit and functional testing of application. Perform problem analysis and application troubleshooting. Engage with other development groups as necessary for testing and issue resolution.

Education:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 3-5+ years of relevant work experience
