JOB DESCRIPTION:
The client needs someone who has done exploratory / primary research and delivered the findings in creative ways to align stakeholders and enlighten designers. Also, the candidates need to have some design experience as well.
The client is looking for a User Researcher to work in their group. In this position you will work with other stakeholders to
- Conduct competitive studies
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and
evaluation criteria to discover user needs and pain points
- Collect and analyze user data through server logs,
usability testing, workshops, lab studies, and surveys.
-Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to derive
concepts, user journeys, and information architecture
- Understand and incorporate complex technical and business
requirements into research.
- Evangelize research findings to diverse audiences through
written reports and oral presentations.
Qualifications:
- MA in HCI, Cognitive Science, Information Science or
related degree
- 5+ years of experience conducting user researches
- Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of
different research methods, including when and how to
apply them during each product phase.
- Excellent working knowledge of statistics and the
principles of experiment design.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and
collaboration skills.
-Excellent time-management, multi-tasking ability, and the
ability to prioritize
