Title: Program Manager
Location: San Jose, CA.
Contract: On Going and renewed quarterly
Mgr will need a Sr. PM, need them to handle cross functional work
Resolve issues independently(without being hand held) and know when to escalate as needed
Worker will need to be onsite

Deliverables
Project manager will work closely with the team across four phases of this engagement initiating, planning, executing/controlling, and closing to deliver outstanding integration project leadership that produces, but is not limited to, the following deliverables:
Robust project plan
Utilization of project management templates to ensure structured project management
Gap analysis and risk assessment documentation
Project management of cross-functional teams this execution/control activity will include:
maintain the accuracy and integrity of workstream plan and ensure the workstream section of the project collaboration site is kept up to date / reflects the reality of work in progress
proactively control the workstream schedule and manage discrepancies, report potential slippages, analyze impacts and devise solutions
run weekly cross-functional meetings, capture minutes, and drive closure of open items
prepare material for and help facilitate program-level release tollgate reviews
provide regular updates (dashboard or program summary) to key stakeholders
prepare change control submissions if plan changes are required
ensure that the project management practices in the workstream conform with the overall project governance structure and practices
proactively identify and manage workstream risks, issues and actions, driving to timely completion
provide overall workstream task, risk, issue, milestone achievement and progress status
collaborate with other team members to ensure the proactive and timely resolution of plan, dependency, risk and issue discrepancies
defining and reporting of critical metrics throughout multiple tracks to continually drive improvements and provide status/visibility
collect lessons learned and ideas for continuous improvement as the project proceeds
contribute to defining best practices for PMO program operations
Post-mortem review(s) to include productivity and integration process improvement recommendations
Targeted Expertise
Required Functional Background
Project/Program management, training, expertise
Strong background working with stakeholders in operations such as QTC, finance, sales operations, channels operations, and IT
Very strong project management skills are essential must have demonstrated success leading complicated multi-layered cross-functional projects
Demonstrated success running projects with large teams through both direct and indirect leadership
PMP certified or have other formal training in project management or have extraordinary work experience if no formal training in PM
Very familiar with MS Project or similar project management applications
Must have recent, significant PM leadership experience in fast-paced deliverables- focused environment(s)
Demonstrates deep understanding of deadlines/priorities and all their implications
Nice to Have Background
SaaS experience
General Skills and Attributes
Culturally attuned to client environment; able to drive project plans
Flexible style and approach
Able to get things done
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with strong presentation, preparation and delivery skills to all levels of management
Quick study with high energy and stamina...willing to go the extra mile
