FatSkunk Inc, an EvoNexus incubated startup funded by Qualcomm, is out to rid the world of malware on wireless devices, and we are looking for a scary smart engineer to help make it happen.
Job Description; Embedded Engineering
Primary job function is to design, develop, debug and test complex software targeting OS kernel, test applications, and device drivers. Test applications and test framework may require some Java, C++, or Objective-C development.
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Android or Linux OS (driver and kernel level) software development, development environment, and Linux kernel interaction using C/C++ and Java.
The successful candidate will work on the Android platforms and the underlying operating system for platforms running Android. The development environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative and requires frequent discussions with other programmers in remote locations and a disciplined approach with respect to test and integration.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience in C/C++ programming
Android / Linux development
Experience in Linux Kernel development and debugging.
Knowledge of multi-cpu, multi-threaded architectures
Knowledge of Linux Kernel API and Linux device drivers.
Experience in cross compiling Linux kernel code for multiple platforms.
Experience with version control systems (git / github)
Knowledge of TCP/IP programming
Excellent organization skills
ability to complete tasks by priority with solution-oriented and goal-oriented approach
Understanding of Object Oriented programming and object oriented design patterns
Preferred skills;
Experience with ARM or Intel x86 assembly
Knowledge of ARM TrustZone, Secure Boot,
Experience with IPSec, OpenSSL
Android application development
Android SDK
Java Programming
Eclipse IDE integrated with Android Development toolkit
Knowledge of iOS or Objective-C
Familiar with cryptographic device development, processes, certification and support
EDUCATION: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related degree
