Title: SAS DI Lead
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 mos+ (possibility of extension)
Experis has an urgent position for a Lead SAS DI consultant to provide guidance and mentor a team composed of developers.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of total experience with strong SAS DI background.
- Strong Experience in ETL/ELT Design for SAS Data Integration (DI) Studio
- Strong Experience in handling large volume of data, bulk extraction using Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) and SAS DI
- Strong Experience in ETL/ELT Templates development, ETL/ELT job/mapping development using SAS Data Integration Studio in SAS Grid Environment
- Strong Experience in writing complex transformations
- Strong Experience in Data Validation, Data Quality and Error handling
- Strong Experience in Job Scheduling, Performance Tuning, Optimizing the ETL/ELT jobs to meet the SLA
- Experience in Type I, Type II handling in ETL
- Experience in Data Model for Oracle and SAS (SAS Datasets)
- Good Analytical skills and Ability to troubleshoot issues on data extraction, data loading, data validation and data quality issues
- Ability to guide developers on Best Practices including ELT/ETL Standards, Reusing Transformations, etc
- Strong Experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS DI Studio, Teradata (SQL Optimization), Oracle, Unix and Unix Shell Scripting
- Interest to learn the business and build technical solution to support the business
- Must Have: SAS DI Experience in Unix Environment, Very Good Team Player and very good communication skills.
