OTM Software Professionals seeking an IT Engineer for Fortune 500 Client Company. Pay rate $70-80/hour DOE.

The IT Operations Team provides technology services & support, enabling efficiency, simplicity and productivity for internal business partners and external customers. The IT team supports the company in its growth as the global leader in cloud infrastructure by developing and showcasing products and technology. IT Ops is building our next generation Command and Control Center to enable us to continue our journey to the software defined data center. As part of this exciting initiative we are looking to hire talented Network Administrators (L2). Working as part of a multi-location follow the sun team, the successful candidate will proactively work to ensure the integrity of company�s IT infrastructure and will ensure that where Incidents do occur, they remediate the Incident utilizing strong technical skills and best practice Incident Management techniques.

Job Description:
•Proactive monitoring of networks 24x7x365 using available tools assessing 'critical' alerts for their impact and taking necessary action to fix the issue.
•Troubleshoot device related problems and resolve.
•Working with OEM / 3rd party vendors for fault / problem resolution
•Perform Incident management, Problem management, and Change management tasks.
•Provide trending and Root Cause Analysis
•Monitoring tools performance and providing inputs for improvement of the management platform to the relevant teams.
•Analyzing the network performance reports and suggesting actions for improvement
•Ensure all critical alerts are monitored and worked upon, when needed create help tickets for critical alerts & issues.
•Create RFCs for emergency changes resulting from the resolution of major incidents.
•Open & run technical bridges during critical incidents and involve appropriate teams.
•Creation and maintenance of documentation including runbooks

Experience & Skills:
•Minimum 4+ years of experience in working with large enterprise carrying out responsibilities in Network Operations at L2 level.
•Good Knowledge and hands on experience with IGP IP routing like OSPF/ISIS
•Good Knowledge and hands on experience with BGP Routing
•Hands on experience with IP Addressing and sub-netting skills
•Hands on experience with MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, LAN/WAN, Routers, Managed Switches
•Should be very good in TCP/IP network troubleshooting
•Knowledge and experience with Cisco, Juniper, Nexus hardware
•Knowledge and experience of CA Spectrum a plus
•Knowledge and experience with firewalls a plus
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to learn new platforms and technologies with a keen interest in expanding and applying this knowledge as new ones emerge
•Willingness to work in monthly rotating shifts 24*7



Education:
•Four (4) year degree in IT or Computer Science
•ITIL V3 Foundation Certified
•Technical certifications related to the technology fields (VCP, CCNA, CCNP etc.)
