[KITlist-Tech] From Sue: Join KIT Resource. Free career events for East Bay job seekers 8/7 and 8/21

Hello Everyone,

First of all, I'd like to encourage you to join the new KIT Resources list, where I am posting job fairs, free career resources and other information that is not specifically a job lead.

To join:
Just send an email to KITlistResource@yahoogroups.com

Great resource in East Bay (Tri-Valley) area:

Also, after I recently posted the notice about ProMatch, an excellent service that is paid by your tax dollars through the EDD, I was asked if I knew other similar services in other areas.

There is a similar group in the East Bay that is also for professionals, funded by state and federal funds.

It's called East Bay Works. They have two orientation meetings coming up to hear about all of their job search workshops, coaching and other resources that are at no charge.

To get the info, please go to the post on KIT Resources on message #24 at:

Also, if you know of other great job and career management resources that are free or very low cost -- and job fairs or open houses -- please share it with the folks on the KIT Resource list by sending an email to: KITlistresource@yahoogroups.com

Thanks, everyone!

Sue
