Software Product/Release Engineer
The Software Product/Release Engineer will develop and execute well-defined
processes, integrating various engineering activities to produce correct,
consistent software products effectively and efficiently.
This engineer will develop QA, validation and release procedures as well as
design and implement software tools to support them and be responsible for all
software releases, changes and archiving.
This position will interact with Development Engineers and must be skilled in a
wide range of activities from process design and root cause analysis to
monitoring and correcting issues arising in each product´s distribution through
third parties. This includes registration, delivery and tracking products
through the life-cycle of various distribution forms.
Skills helpful in this position:
• Extremely well-organized
• Good communication skills
• 5+ years as a software development or QA engineer
• 5+ years experience in development of web-based tools, preferably using PHP
• Proven history in developing automated processes
• Experience with source code control technologies, CVS or SVN preferred
• Working familiarity with Windows and Unix systems
