Position: Sr. Implementation Consultant, Professional Services
Location: Northeast US (NY / NJ / PA / CT / DC)
Description: As an Implementation Consultant in the Professional Services team, you will help implement eGain's customer interaction and knowledge management solutions for our clients. This will involve installing, configuring, customizing, and integrating our products into our client's websites and enterprise systems. The work will require a technical and functional knowledge of our product as well as the ability to understand the business and technical needs of our clients. You´ll serve as a key resource for our clients who will call upon you to apply our technology to help solve their business problems. If you enjoy constantly keeping up with new technologies, being challenged with new problems to solve on every project, interacting with some of the biggest companies and working with other smart outgoing engineers – then you'll love working at eGain.
Responsibilities:
• Participating in workshops to capture and clarify customer requirements
• Designing solutions to meet customer needs using available product functionality and/or custom capability
• Installation of the application within customer environment
• Undertaking system configuration via standard user interfaces
• Capture/organization of knowledge content
• Liaising between the Customer and Technical Consultants to identify & clarify requirements for custom development
• Developing & executing test plans to ensure the quality of deliverables
Experience/Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience of interfacing directly with customers in previous roles
• Excellent planning, organization, and implementation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and embrace change enthusiastically
• Be able to function effectively in a project team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Experience in CRM or contact center software is a plus
• High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
• Be able to travel 75% of the time
