About the Job:
Part-time webmaster responsible for the maintenance of our corporate website.
Oversees full functionality of site and troubleshoots bugs.
Performs backups and ensure user accessibility to the site. Monitors site traffic and helps scale site capacity to meet traffic demands and performance expectations.
Works with marketing, design, and IT departments to develop, maintain and coordinate content management.
Creates new layouts for product categories and product pages.
Identifies, prioritizes and manages SEO opportunities and projects relating to site architecture, URL structure, redirects, content, title tags, internal linking, compliancy issues, natural link building and site maps.
Drives link building campaign methods.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree.
Website is run on Joomla content management system. Working understanding of interface or ability to transfer site to alternative.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, Javascript, and SQL.
It is also helpful, if the webmaster knows a programming language such as C++ or Java.
