[KITlist-Tech] Business Analyst - (BRDs, web content dev, SQL queries) (Silicon Valley, CA)

This is the best of both worlds! You will be working in an exciting and fast paced environment on the eCommerce team. It feels like a start-up, yet you have the financial backing and stability of a well- known and respected Silicon Valley Fortune 500 company.

Our client is looking for a contract-to-hire Business Analyst to join their team. This position will give you the opportunity to work with a group of individuals who are building category creating web security products.


Responsibilities:

* Create Business Requirements Documents and Software Requirements Specification documents.

* Support testing of one or more applications.

* Responsible for creating and maintaining application and system documentation used in design, testing or programming efforts.

* Apply knowledge of the users ,operations, integration into IT standards and processes, and specialized training in the applications.

* Assist with the development IT standards and processes. References and understands application and system documentation to support design, testing or programming efforts without assistance from more experienced IT specialists.

* Develop new documentation as necessary.

* Apply knowledge of the users, operations, integration into IT standards and processes, and specialized training in the applications.

* Maintain certification in industry standard toolsets.

* Will be involved with a product launch from an analyst perspective.


Requirements:

* 7-9 years of Business Analysis experience.

* Must have leadership experience with leading technical peers and must be able to run a meeting and stand on their own with no supervision.

* 3-5 years of prior hands-on development and implementation of web content (XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JS, AJAX).

* 3-5 years of experience in writing Oracle Database SQL queries.

* Knowledge of UTF-8, Globalization & Localization.

* Experience in using Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, etc.

* Experience in using organizational collaboration tools like MS Sharepoint and Internal Wikis.

* Must have been involved with a product launch.

* Must be able to contribute to planning and technical design.

* Demonstrated in depth and broad range knowledge of multiple application toolsets.

* Experience with advanced concepts of coding and SLDC processes and procedures.

Education: Bachelor´s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience required
