[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: Zend / PHP Developer (Front and Backend) (san jose, ca)

Position: Zend / PHP Developer (Front and Backend)
Length of contract: 6+ months
Location: Santa Clara, CA

We are hoping to find someone with strong front and backend skills.
The role is for a sprint team doing optimization work

To keep it simple we would need at least 5 years front end development experience (HTML, CSS, JS) and 5 years backend development with PHP.

Also MySQL and Oracle experience would be good, along with Linux system administration.

experience with Doctrine

Zend Certification (ZCE or Zend Certified Engineer) Ideal Candidate

Frontend
Familiarity with the differences between semantic and table based HTML development
Experience writing W3C validated HTML
Experience with browser quirks, specifically IE6
Experience with the latest front end debugging tools

Backend
Familiarity with the MVC pattern (the more knowledge of this the better)
Experience with Zend Framework
Experience testing code, preferably unit testing
Experience writing complex SQL queries
Design patterns experience is a plus and, can help distinguish between an intermediate and advanced developer
Knowledge of the SDLC and the differences between Agile and Waterfall development is definitely a plus
