Title: Software Engineer, Ecommerce
Location: San Francisco
Duration: 12 months
Rate: DOE

Position Summary
Seeking a software engineer to help develop ecommerce functionality. As a member of the ecommerce engineering team, this engineer will work on a fast-paced scrum team, analyzing, designing, implementing and testing enhancements and/or new projects.

Responsibilities
• Design, implement and deliver high quality, timely releases that provide the committed functionality.
• Collaborate with functional and technical team members to develop production-level code as well as proof-of-concepts and UI prototypes.

Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BS or advanced degree and 5+ years experience, or equivalent knowledge.
• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, object oriented design techniques, + software engineering best practices.
• Advanced ColdFusion skills with experience in implementing object oriented designs.
• Experience with using Agile Software Development techniques to deliver software products and services.
• Experience with Apache CXF and/or writing RESTful services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, preferably working with Oracle.
• Experience writing Unit Tests, preferably using jUnit or cfcUnit.
• Experience with UML preferred.
• Experience with XML; experience with XSDs preferred.
