Who We´re Looking For: Right now, we're looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer who is passionate about making fast, scalable, and well-designed web interfaces for a high visibility consumer-facing site. You will be utilizing the latest web technologies to solve challenging problems, create innovative web applications from the ground up and understand exactly what it takes to create an outrageously good Web experience for our customers. You'll be all about finding ways to increase customer conversion and satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems • Participate in design and code reviews • Identify, communicate, and implement best practices for front-end engineering Qualifications: • 7+ years of professional experience • Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) • Experience with scripting languages (PHP, Python, etc.) • Knowledge of but not reliance on JS Frameworks (jQuery, YUI, etc.) • Detail oriented process, consistent cross-browser implementation • The ability to write well-abstracted, documented, and reusable code • Passion for front-end performance optimization • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop • Command line and version control experience Preferred: • Strong interest in product design and building user interfaces • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and passion for cutting edge web technology • Ability to write custom jQuery scripts/plugins • Experience working on a high-traffic website Great People Deserve Great Benefits: Yes, we're on a mission to reinvent how cars are bought and sold.
