Gigya is growing quickly and we are expanding the Sales Engineering team. This team works closely with innovative customers to implement social authentication, sharing, and engagement using the Gigya Social Platform. You will use your knowledge to influence customer decisions, provide insightful solutions, and drive successful implementations. Be ready to hit the ground running with your potent technical capabilities, critical and creative thinking, and a passion for fast-paced problem solving.
The primary function of the Sales Engineer is to assist the Sales team as the technical subject matter expert for Gigya Social Platform during customer calls and presentations. You will be responsible for using market and technical knowledge to consult on best practices and offer constructive direction for implementation, driving customer success with your recommendations. Additional responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth transition of customers to the post-sales team and working with Product Management to convey customer and prospect sentiment.
Candidates should have:
- Customer-facing skills
- Ability to communicate technical ideas to sales teams, business stakeholders, and technical users
- Desire to perform presentations and offer technical input to the sales process
- Broad understanding of enterprise and web architectures
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript and REST
- 3 years experience in Sales Engineering
- Prior engineering experience preferred
Preferred skills include:
- Web application development
- Server-side development
- Experience with SaaS
- General understanding of software languages
