Job Title Principle Web Developer
Duties
- Builds applications using Internet and Windows Development tools and web technologies to enable new eStore capabilities and drive increased sales.-
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of complete web components.
- Anticipates problems and future technical needs and takes necessary corrective steps to ensure they are addressed.
- Is looked upon to offer direction, guidance and mentoring to lesser skilled individuals on the team.
- Completes analysis, development and/or maintenance of highly complex, undefined tasks.
- May act as team lead or technical lead for a large portion of or an entire project.
- Designs, develops and maintains high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product.
- May assist in setting technical product direction by analyzing industry trends, competitive information and product requirements.
- Has the ability to work on, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects.
Skills
- 7-10 years web development experience using HTML, CSS, JS, XML, XSLT Advanced technical knowledge of current Internet systems, software, protocols and standards Proven track record of successfully delivering complex web solutions for customers through a disciplined development methodology that leveraged various roles (for example BSAs, Project Managers)
- Advanced coding skills to maximize output Working knowledge of web application servers (i.e. Web logic, Apache) is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in both formal and informal settings Ability to confer with end-users, clients, or senior management to define business requirements for complex systems
- Ability to plan, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to mentor and train junior team members
- Experience defining and strategically thinking about global technology, IT architectures and applications to support global ecommerce solutions is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent experience. BS in CS preferred
