Systems (Linux Santos or RHEL) Engineer (Key RHEL/Santos, Apache. Juniper, Automation- Chef or Puppet, CF Engine, Nagio, Hyp[eric, MySQl, Some Shell)
Description
Looking for a Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our Production Operations Infrastructure Team. You will have primary responsibility for the hardware, software, and network infrastructure in our 9 data centers where we support Production Operations and implementing customers, which is currently around 270 globally.
Responsibilities/Skills/Requirements:
* Deep expertise in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting Linux/Unix-based large scale Internet / SaaS / Cloud systems
* Technical degree or work experience equivalent
* Good communication skills to support our compliance initiatives (SAS70, disaster recovery, ISO) and the teamwork required for rapid company growth
* Experience with database or block replication, SAN/NFS management, or data center automation tools is important
* Demonstrated ability to build scalable web-based systems that support rapid growth
* Demonstrated ability building system level automation using Chef or Puppet
* Experience implementing and using monitoring tools such as Nagios, Hyperic, etc.
