Position: Product Management Associate
Associates in the Product Management team at eGain are responsible for one or more product offerings throughout the lifecycle of the offering. They gather and prioritize requirements, define the product vision, work with engineering to develop the product, work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, and serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product offering.
Responsibilities:
• Know the market space and competition
• Know customer requirements
• Define product strategy and develop roadmap
• Create mockups for incremental UI changes
• Create use cases and user stories
• Work with engineering on major and minor releases
• Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products
• Work with marketing on go-to-market strategy, product collateral, and analyst engagements
• Respond to queries from the field on product functionality and roadmap
Qualifications:
• Bachelor´s degree; Computer Science degree or related work experience a strong plus
• Master's degree; a strong plus
• 2 to 5 years of experience
• Travel to customer and partner sites in North America and Europe (15%)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Technical background, with experience in the development of web-based applications
• Demonstrated ability to visualize new products
