Front End Web Developer

We are looking for a front end web developer to join our small tight-knit team, designing digital, interactive apps and games for web, mobile, and kiosks. Our apps are innovative multimedia entertainment experiences that combine user-generated content, cutting-edge technology, and the hottest music, movie, and sports properties.

Everyone on our team collaborates in the creative process, from dreaming up cool ideas to contributing clever solutions.

General Requirements
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP
• Proficient in hand coding semantic, efficient and standards compliant HTML
• Ability to create database driven and templatised HTML content
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English

Required Skills
• (4+ year) Excellent HTML and CSS3 skills in creating tableless web pages and UI from designed layouts with extreme attention to details
• (3+ year) Fluent in JavaScript with the ability to create reusable, scalable code, utilizing AJAX for dynamic web content
• (3+ year) Create cross browser compatible web apps with graceful degradation
• Familiar with jQuery, and the idea of abstracting DOM manipulation

Pluses
• Comprehensive understanding of HTTP
• Fluent in PHP with experience in OOP
• A solid understanding of web accessibility, usability and SEO
