[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: Professional Services (Data Center Operations) Engagement Manager (San Jose, CA)

We are looking for an Services Engagement manager for an ongoing contractor role at a global enterprise solutions company in San Jose, CA. The Engagement manager will manage the end to end deployment of Network and Data Center Operations optimization services at North American customers.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years experience, including a strong Software & Managed Services background, and strong Project and Program Management experience.

This is a 40 hours per week role onsite at the client's offices in San Jose, CA, for ongoing, quarterly contracts. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee. Approximately 25% travel is required, to primarily US customers.

Job Responsibilities:
•Manage the deployment of services deals that enhance the value prop and accelerate market adoption of overall service offerings
•Engage with Business Development Managers and account teams in consultative role during pre-sales.
•Define deployment project requirements and deliverables by working with stakeholders to confirm engagement deliverables and scope
•Plans and directs activity definition and sequencing, project schedules/ milestones, deliverables, quality requirements and plans
•Assists Business Development and Product Management teams & Project Managers with developing and documenting lessons learned and creates project archives
•Monitors and communicates progress of engagements to all stakeholders as required
•Creation & execution of templates for deployment of new solutions and scale them when needed

Experience/Education:
•Software, Managed Services and Product deployment experience
•Strong Project & Program Management experience
•Experience in driving & managing multiple functional and distributed teams
•Background in Product Management is a plus
•Consultative approach, stakeholder influence & management skills
•Project Coordination & Organizational skills
•10+ years of experience in the software and managed services business
•Strong teamwork & interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
•An ability to scan the internal landscape and learn rapidly through dialogs with various organizations
•Direct experience with software & managed services business and operations
•Ability to influence people across the organization to drive results
•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to deal with ambiguity and adaptable to change
