Build / Release Engineer
Description
Must Have:
• Subversion (SVN) Administration (code branching/merging)
• Strong experience with Maven
• Strong experience with Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux
• Strong experience with UNIX Shell scripting
• Strong experience with continuous integration tools such as Atlassian Tools Bamboo (optional Jenkins, Hudson)
• Full lifecycle administration experiences with an OSGI container (Apache Karaf, Apache Felix, Eclipse Virgo, etc.)
• Full lifecycle administration experiences with a major relational database, preferably MySQL (or Oracle, DB2, etc.)
• Full lifecycle administration experiences with MQ, preferably RabbitMQ (or Active MQ, etc.)
• Full lifecycle administration experiences with Enterprise Service Bus such as Talend, ServiceMix, Paremus
• Can develop, deploy, and maintain product enhancements
• Full lifecycle administration experiences with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, HP LoadRunner
Nice to have:
• Experience with administering non-relational databases: NoSQL (ie. MongoDB, Cassandra), Time Series Objects, etc.
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Nexus OSGI Bundle Repository
• Experience with administrating Security services such as with LDAP, OAuth, SAML
• Extensive experience with load balancing (software and hardware), cluster configuration, and performance tuning
• Back end coding skills including SQL, Java 6, J2EE/JEE, JPA, JMS, JTA, JDO, Spring
• Front end coding skills including HTML 5, CSS 3, JQuery, Ext JS, AJAX, Play framework
• Can architect product enhancements
• Experience with Puppet, Chef
• Experience with deploying web and mobile applications
• Experience with Agile / Dev Ops methodologies
• Self-starter that can introduce, prove, and support new technologies
