Responsibilities:
The Graphic Designer/Front-End Web Developer is responsible for the creation of advertising for print and web (including email marketing), preparation of collateral for tradeshow events, maintenance of our flagship company website (BradfordTechnologies.com), and our sister company (AppraisalWorld.com).
Experience/Requirements:
- BA or BS degree or Associate degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related design work
- A high level of Mac and PC (on Parallels) proficiency with ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Expert in valid HTML and CSS practices, semantics and browser compatibility (up to IE 7)
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
- Working knowledge of PHP (knowledge of ASP a big plus)
- Working knowledge with ability to create/modify themes for Joomla and WordPress
- Familiar with Linux/Apache and Windows web servers
- Expert with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Ability to hand-code emails (using HTML Tables) for marketing
- Familiar with CAN-SPAM compliance
- Must possess experience with typography, logo design, layout, print and web design
- Looking for an eager, positive, "can-do" team player
- Must be able to independently plan and execute workload
- Able to multi-task efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Must have strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Must have good spelling and grammar skills
- Agency experience a plus
