This is an excellent opportunity to join a team developing cutting edge products in the Data Center Switching and Virtualization space. We are looking for candidates who strive in a fast paced startup like environment. The work involves design and development in customized networking environment for some key system software.
You will be part of a fast paced team responsible for delivering quality code for large complex systems requirements. Thus, you set your own limits for learning, achievements and rewards.
Responsibilities:
Participate on a project team of engineers involved in the development of software for our next generation data center switch product family, with emphasis in the layer 2 features. Define, architect, design, and deliver new software features and protocols for the Nexus platform. Write complete functional and design specs independently. Develop large portions of software independently and rapidly.
Required Skills:
• Experience in developing system software for networking products like switches, routers.
• Strong problem solving, C coding and debugging skills.
• Two to five years of related work experience is required. Five plus years of experience is required.
• BSCS/CE is required MSCS/CE is preferred.
Desired Skills:
Any of the following skills is a plus:
• Experience with forwarding software for any switch/router products
• Experience in L2 switching features
• Experience developing Linux applications or Linux kernel modules
• Knowledge/Experience with Virtualization technologies like VMware vShpere, Xen, KVM, Hyper-V
. Experience with NXOS
