Our Engineering team requires the addition of Development Test Engineers with a broad range of test and development experience and capabilities to support the growth of our product portfolio in our Boulder facility.
As a member of this accomplished engineering group you will work alongside physicists, engineers and other technologists to develop systems that validate products in both current and next generation precise time and frequency areas.
Team member responsibilities include:
- Design and configure test setups, install software and develop automation scripts
- Contribute to the development of test plans, procedures and processes
- Execute tests against hardware and software to validate features, functionality and performance
- Document results and work closely with developers and others to analyze and debug issues
- Participate in various training classes and laboratories in a rapid learning environment
Development Test Engineers will receive focused technical training to augment current experience, and as the team provides a broad and deep test capability within engineering. These hands-on positions provide valuable experience which can support your respective career goals in engineering, service, sales and QA.
Essential qualifications for this position include:
- BSCS/BSEE degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3+ years experience in test automation or QA
- Reasonably skilled with at least one programming language and using lab test equipment
- Hands-on experience using and testing embedded products, e.g. in a QA or support role
- Demonstrated experience and growing expertise working in a Linux environment
- Highly analytical mindset with exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for learning about precision timing, instrumentation, GPS and related areas
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Desired qualifications include:
- Prior exposure to automated testing and scripting tools like Python, Perl or LabVIEW, TestStand, etc.
- Experience interacting with customers on technical issues
