We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager for a full time/permanent job at a medical device manufacturer in the East Bay, CA.

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for product planning and outbound marketing of orthopedic products. These responsibilities will include strategic planning, pricing, product portfolio management, competitive market analysis, marketing and budgeting.

This is a full time/permanent employee role at the company´s offices in the East Bay, CA. There is no flexibility to work remotely. Local candidates only, as relocation is not provided.

Responsibilities
•Serves as a marketing advisor providing product and market overviews
•Coordination of product development activities
•Creation of in-depth business case analysis/recommendations
•Develop, plan and implement product launches and product distribution
•Interface with the advertising agency to develop product/market awareness campaigns, and coordinate key trade show marketing inputs
•Responsible for developing/implementing/monitoring a marketing budget and forecast related to assigned products, conventions and meetings, advertising/promotions, literature, etc.
•Sales training
•Work closely with key surgeons and product development to define market and product requirements for new products/markets
•Ensure products are in compliance with FDA issues in coordination with RA/QA department
•Up to 25% travel, including up to 3 annual international trips and travel to US conferences/customer meetings

Requirements
•8+ years of Medical Device product marketing or marketing experience with orthopedics, spine or medical capital equipment products
•3 to 5 years product P&L experience
•Very strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to collect requirements, size effort and deliver on schedule
•Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, peers in cross-functional teams, and third parties.
•BS degree in marketing or related field, MBA preferred
