Title: Weblogic/Websphere Engineer (IT CAM)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 mos+
We have an urgent position for a Weblogic/Websphere Admin with the following skills.
Skills / Experience:
- 7+ years of IT experience as Weblogic/Websphere Engineer who understands and worked with IT CAM (a must)
- Expert in Weblogic (preferred 10.x) administration (Installation, Upgrade, Configuration & Maintenance).
- Expertise in Linux/Unix, and scripting (Perl, Bash etc)
- Knowledge in Using WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool) to monitor and manage WebLogic Server instances, clusters and domains
- Hands on experience with Installation and Configuration of F- 5/BIG-IP Load Balancer to work with Weblogic Server
- Installed and configured Apache HTTP Server or Apache Tomcat and Sun One Web Servers in various environments
- Experience in deployment, configuration, administration, problem determination and performance tuning of ITCAM Monitoring 6.1 infrastructures on UNIX platforms (LINUX)
- In-depth knowledge of J2EE Application Servers (WebSphere, Weblogic)
- Expert Knowledge of ITCAM and ITM architecture and proficient in the Managing server, Data collector and port consolidator
- Ability to manage, support and troubleshoot ITCAM related issues
- Strong knowledge of ITCAM, ability to upgrade, apply bug fixes and work with vendor/users on issues
- Provide training and create standard operating procedures/documentation for support personnel
- Ability to manage perl script for provisioning, deploy, ITCAM enabling and other automation scripts.
- Very good communication skills and will be able to work with teams
