Engineer for dev-ops (python, VMWare, Linux)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 3-6 months (contract to hire possible)
Engineer will be in a dev-ops team, doing support and solving issues, while supporting the engineering teams. Engineer will maintain the development test environments infrastructure. The engineer will write complex scripts in Python. Traits sought: individual contributor, self-motivated, dependable. Able to work with developers, QA and IT personnel.
Must-Have Skills
* Python scripting including using Python SDK, for 2-3 years
* VMWare tools, for installs configuration on Linix ( ESXi/vSphere virtualization technologies and deployment)
* Linux Sys Admin background (even familiarity may be sufficient)
* ability to multi-task
Good-to-Have skills
* networking knowledge
