Client Company is stable, public and growing.<br /><br /> ** Local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area).<br /><br /> Responsibilities<br /><br /> Sr. Test automation lead to help plan and pilot an automated approach to our client's user regression testing initiatives.<br /><br /> Requirements<br /><br /> • Expert in application testing, creating test plans and coordinating resource for user acceptance testing (UAT)<br /><br /> • Experience with a variety of test automation tools, analyzing results, writing and executing end to end automated scripts across tools<br /><br /> • Strong Initiative, Written and Verbal communication skills<br /><br /> • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities along with strong troubleshooting skills<br /><br /> • Ability to foresee problems and see around corners<br /><br /> • Write code to verify correctness of data and to capture performance <br /><br /> • Contribute to the quality strategy of the products we support<br /><br /> • Work closely with cross functional business teams in HWE to define requirements<br /><br /> • 5 years minimum experience in software engineering and QA roles<br /><br /> • 5 years minimum experience writing automated test suites to test Unix server software<br /><br /> • 3 years minimum experience using HTTP and experience with REST APIs<br /><br /> • 3 years minimum experience with one of scripting languages: Python or Perl<br /><br /> • 5 years minimum experience working with Unix and comfortable with Unix tools like grep, bash, find, strace<br /><br /> • 3 years minimum applied QA methodology experience<br /><br /> • Ability to construct test cases from basic product information<br /><br />
