Position Summary
The IT department is looking for an experienced mid-level Systems Administrator who is a self-starter who will do what it takes to identify and resolve issues. This forward facing role, focused on good customer service skills, will require prompt responses to customer issues. This position within the organization will be to provide infrastructure support to customers internal, and in some cases, external to the organization.
Responsibilities
• Windows server and desktop operating systems
• VMWare or other virtualization products
• Linux
• Active Directory administration
• Group Policy Administration
• Anti-virus software and device encryption
• Solid understanding of security best practices. Experience in a PCI compliant environment a plus.
• Excellent soft skills are required in leadership, teamwork, and teambuilding
• Written and oral communication/presentation
• Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations
• Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
• 24x7 on-call support rotation required
• Software deployment technologies
• Networking technologies including Cisco IOS.
• Telephone systems
• Business applications (e.g. Crystal Reports, Great Plains, SharePoint)
Qualifications and Experience
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Customer Service experience
Education
• 4 year Bachelor���s degree
• Relevant certifications (MCP, CCNA, etc.)
